PMLN Govt Plans to Lease Out PSM for 45 Years

PMLN Govt Plans to Lease Out PSM for 45 Years-Moonis Elahi

Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) has become Pakistan's first Govt institution after PIA to file continuously for losses. So far, it has reached to a record $5 billion debt as losses over the last 3 years have doubled.

Moonis Elahi, a young Pakistani parliamentarian, has denounced incumbent government's decision, and termed it a strategy to create opportunities to plunder Pakistan. The country's largest industrial complex would be leased to a private firm which succeeds in presenting the highest revenue sharing proposal. It has been revealed that almost 5000 employees would be laid off. A transaction committee on Monday discussed the various options and the lease term would be finalized on Tuesday 17th January 2017.

The present state of PSM is due to over hiring, unchecked corruption, inefficiency and the Govt's non serious attitude towards it said Moonis Elahi. The PSM’s accumulated losses and liabilities, which stood at Rs26bn at the end of 2008, have increased to around Rs415bn, including Rs166bn payable liabilities.

The government has injected over Rs85bn out of the federal budget for various bailout packages since then. Since the PMLN's government, PSM's losses have doubled and the talks to lease or sell it had started surfacing quite early. It has been decided that the land would remain Govt property whle the building and machinery will be given on lease.

Moonis Elahi Condemns Terrorist Attack on Samaa DSNG Van

A DSNG van owned by Samaa, a private news channel was attacked by unknown armed men in the North Nazimabad Area Karachi. While the rest of the crew survived the ambush, the assistant cameraman received a bullet to the head. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to the injury.

Moonis Elahi was the first to denounce the cowardly attack by terrorists on the media van. He further said incumbent government has failed to provide protection to the citizens of Karachi and crime in the metropolis is increasing rapidly. The reason of attack is still unknown and no group has yet claimed responsibility.

The incident happened when a police van came under a cracker attack. No police officials were hurt during the cracker attack. SSP Central Muqaddas Haider said the same suspects might be involved in both the incidents and added the cracker attack on the police vehicle did not cause any damage. It is speculated that the main target of the assailants was the media team rather than the police. The cracker was used as a bait to lure in a media team and when Samaa was the first to reach the spot, it was targeted.

Moonis Elahi has insisted that the real culprits be caught and the real story behind the attack be brought to light.
Additional Police Surgeon Dr Rohina Hasan confirmed the victim arrived with a bullet wound to the head and died while under treatment. The young man had received a fatal wound to the head and couldn't survive. She further added that no post mortem had yet been conducted.

Moonis Elahi expressed his condolences and prayed for the departed soul. A police team is investigating the case and IG Police Sindh, A D Khowaja has taken a "strong notice" of the attack. Attacks on media teams is not new in Karachi as earlier in September 2015 another Samaa DSNG van was attacked.

ARY news head office also came under attack in Karachi earlier when MQM supremo Altaf Hussain urged his workers to attack the media during their sit-in in Karachi. Moonis Elahi urged the Sindh government to ensure safety of the media personnel working in Karachi. He said the media works selflessly to keep the nation alert of all the happenings in the country. If they are repeatedly attacked it would become difficult for them to work in Karachi. The city has a dark history of housing terrorists while the police seems helpless. It is time this menace be wiped out from the metropolis completely.

All Party Conference gathered to debate only on the issue of Kalabagh Dam

Kalabagh Dam is Top Priority-Moonis Elahi

Pakistan has never been the best buddy of its neighbor India and most of the time the two can be seen fighting over issues in the international forums like the UN. Presently, India has found it amusing to dry out Pakistan by building dams on the Chenab river while Pakistani ruling party PMLN has been busy in devising strategies to make more money and send it to their children abroad. When Modi announced his decision to revoke the Indus Water Treaty (IWT) Pakistan rushed to the World Bank to refrain India from going ahead with it. Moonis Elahi, the young PMLQ politician had stated before that PMLN must take necessary actions to hit the nail in time and India would be stopped for good.

kalabag-dam-moonis-elahi

But, since it is PMLN's policy to leave every matter unattended no matter how important it may be, the dispute over IWT in WB wasn't followed up aggressively. Pakistan's lack of interest over the issue has already provided India the leverage it seeks and delaying a conclusion would certainly not be in the favor of Pakistan. Moonis Elahi has urged the government time and again to initiate building the Kalabagh Dam which is a permanent solution to India's threat. As the dam would not be filled with Indian waters, it can be a ticket to prosperity, an investment which would prove to be fruitful long term. While some prominent Pakistani politicians have taken up their agenda fueled by enemy funding, to criticize KBD without a reason, it has become a highly controversial issue. Moonis Elahi has reminded the incumbent government numerous times that if they please to really sort out the matter, it can be done very quickly. The solution lies in an All Party Conference gathered to debate only on the issue of Kalabagh Dam. Every party would be given a chance to represent it's province and either defend the dam or argue on it. A unanimous vote must be cast and all fears of the opposing parties must be cleared so that KBD may become a reality.

bhasha-dam-moonis-elahi

It is time to unite and discuss about Pakistan rather than personal interests. As our neighbors China and India plan on expanding their dams to overcome water and electricity shortages in their countries, Pakistan is busy building roads and putting more people on the streets. If we don't act today, the future would be dry and a thirsty Pakistan with severe climatic changes and many unknown diseases. Moonis Elahi says it correct that PMLN is risking the future of Pakistan through its looting spree while ignoring important facts such as the Kalabagh Dam. We need it now and shouldn't waste time over criticizing without proof. The black sheep must be thrown out who hinder Pakistan's progress and prosperity

pakistan political situation analysis 2017

pakistan political situation analysis 2017

‘Panamagate’ refuses to die as the New Year has begun with new bench of the Supreme Court, which will start hearing petitions of Imran Khan and others from Wednesday. However, the new chief justice of Pakistan, Justice Saqib Nisar, has recused himself from the case. In all probability, the outcome of the case will dominate the emerging political scenario in 2017, which even otherwise is the electioneering year and we will witness lots of political happenings in the next 12 months.

Both, the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and the main opposition party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are confident of winning the case, but it is good that both will accept the judgement, at least this is what they say right now.

However, Imran Khan was disappointed when the previous bench, headed by former chief justice, Anwar Zaheer Jamali, adjourned the hearing till the first week of January, and said, the new bench would hear the petitions.

When the senior most judge, Justice Saqib Nisar, took the oath, he ended all kinds of speculations over 'Panama case’, by keeping himself out of the bench. Whether elections will be held as per schedule in 2018 or earlier, the battle for Islamabad will be between the ruling PML-N and opposition PTI, the SC verdict on Panama will also determine the political career of both Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and also of Imran Khan.

Imran, who had lost his campaign over election rigging in 2013 after the Judicial Commission findings in 2015, wants to win 'Panama case’, as his chances of victory in the next general elections has a lot to do with the court verdict.

Defeat in this case will further reduce his chances of winning the upcoming elections, but a victory could give a new lease of life to his party and he could go into polls with high spirits. On the other hand, stakes are also high in the other camp. There’s a lot more than the political career of PM Sharif which is under threat.

Any adverse ruling would seriously dent his political legacy, as he often sees his daughter taking over power from him in future. But, the PML-N is ready to take the challenge, as the political battle between the PML and the PTI has now entered the crucial phase and political temperature has also soared.

The kind of language being used by both sides during TV talk shows and in public meetings also reflects rising tensions. The battle for Punjab is the battle for Islamabad. The PML-N has been ruling the province since 1985 and has retired General Pervez Musharraf not staged a coup on Oct 12, 1999, Sharifs could have enjoyed an uninterrupted rule. Musharraf's era had created a split in the party and Chaudhrys of Gujrat and Moonis Elahi sided with the former president as an alley.

However, for the first time, the Muslim League emerged as an opposition party, unlike in the past when leaguers had the reputation of changing loyalties. But many who changed their loyalties during Musharraf's period are now part of PML-N, something which went against Shairfs’ post-Musharraf politics.

Imran Khan, who also supported Musharraf from 1999 to 2002, not only regretted his association with him but is also seriously challenging Sharifs’ political supremacy now. Thus, in 2017, the battlefield will be Lahore, which since 1970s had witnessed major political transformation. Once it was the stronghold of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), under Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. It is the city where three major political parties, PPP, PML and PTI were founded.

So, the city will witness one of the most crucial political battles in the next elections between the 'might of Sharifs’, and the rise of Imran. Some PML-N leaders conceded that for the first time the party faced serious political challenge in 2013 elections in Lahore, and the PTI did jolt the party. "In a way it was good for the party, as competition always helps you correct your mistakes, said a PML-N leader on condition of anonymity, as he criticised some of the party leaders.

Now where would stand the other mainstream political parties in this 'two-party battle’? The PTI has practically replaced the PPP in Punjab, and the latter may witness some important party leaders leaving it before the elections.

The decision of former president, Asif Ali Zardari, to take the centre-stage is something which had been opposed by many leaders of the PPP Punjab. They had even suggested to Mr Zardari to either stay away from the party or become the party's 'Rahbar’ (patron).

The only option for the PPP is the post-election scenario, as they are unlikely to stage a big comeback in near future. In 2017, the party would try to regain some of its lost glory in southern Punjab and sweep in Sindh including improving its position in Karachi.

While Imran Khan is confident that the PTI would retain its position in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, only an anti-PTI alliance comprising PML-N, JUI-F, ANP and PPP could pose challenge to the PTI-JI alliance.
Therefore, we may see hectic political manoeuvring in 2017, in the post-Panama scenario. But, for the first time, Karachi will be most unpredictable in the aftermath of a split in the MQM, between the MQM-Pakistan, MQM-London and Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP). Will this split help any of the three or parties like PPP, JI and PTI, is yet to be seen.

The year would determine the future political discourse for 2018. Thus, the visit of Imran Khan and his stay in the city for three days clearly showed that he sees the party chances and has decided to hold public meetings here in the next few months.

While there are little chances of any grand opposition alliance before the election, the PPP is at crossroad right now. The only positive response which Mr Zardari has got was from the PML-Q’s Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, who met him recently. But, his own party's position in Punjab and elsewhere is not much different from that of the PPP in Punjab.

The Supreme Court, since the historic lawyer movement, had taken some historic decisions. It has done what the successive governments and Parliament have failed to do, like holding of local government elections or population census on time as a constitutional obligation. In fact, they failed and put the burden on the SC.
While the mainstream opposition parties, led by Imran Khan, and even persons like Sirajul Haq, have stated that if they did not get justice from the SC, they would settle the issue on roads, i.e. agitation. For them, ‘justice’ means decision in their favour.

Thus, in many ways we have not only tried to politicize the case but also the judiciary, something which could have negative repercussion on the independence of judiciary.
The year 2017 will be the test of political maturity, independence of judiciary, autonomous Election Commission of Pakistan, constituted with consensus and the test of parliament to adopt consensus 'electoral reforms’, and implement it before the next polls.

Moonis Elahi says PM's Bosnia Holiday, Mockery Of The Poor Of The Nation

Moonis Elahi says PM's Bosnia Holiday, Mockery Of The Poor Of The Nation

It seems PMLN has no shortage of morons in its advisory cabinet. Just when an issue is burning hot, PMLN leadership decides to step in the burning oil and highlight itself for a new controversy. Just a few days ago the crash of the ill-fated PK661 sparked outrage over the PIA administration and the incumbent Govt highlighting how the airline is in losses yet there are no concrete steps taken to stabilize it. Moonis Elahi has condemned the decision of Prime Minister to use one of the few PIA's Boeing 777 for his personal visit to Bosnia on 3 days trip causing another loss worth millions of Rupees in these 3 days.
While there is no official announcement of the purpose of his visit, Nawaz Sharif has chosen to damage PIA in yet another agonizing way. Moonis Elahi pointed out the fact that Nawaz Sharif has not disclosed the purpose of his trip nor has he announced how many people would accompany him. A personal visit should not be a burden on the state. It has been noted before that his grandchildren have accompanied him and even sat in the UN's halls just for the sake of pleasure at the expense of Pakistani tax payer. It is evident that the PMLN leadership thinks of the nation as their slaves while they are kings.

Moonis Elahi - Why KBD is For The Entire Pakistan

Ever wondered why we have such long hours of load shedding during the summer? We all know that Pakistan has no shortage of natural resources but it only lacks proper usage of the natural resources. Punjab, as the very name describes, five rivers which flow through the province has given it the name which is recognized all over the world. The province can prove to be host to eradication of load shedding from the entire country if the Kalabagh Dam is constructed. Moonis Elahi has once again highlighted the benefits our country can reap if the KBD ever becomes a reality.
kalabag-dam-moonis-elahi
Currently Moonis Elahi is the only politician vouching for the construction of Kalabagh Dam while the present PMLN Govt seems more interested in Bhasha Dam. It would not hurt if both dams are constructed but with the facts put forth by the young PMLQ politician, it certainly is lucrative and definitely aimed to benefit the entire country rather than just one region. Pakistan currently faces a lot of shortages and the issue of water shortage has started to surface now more than often. The Pakistan - India water treaty is one of the longest standing treaties between the two countries but lately the latter seems to find it amusing to revoke it.
pmln-supporters-vote-for-bhasha-dam
While the Bhasha Dam, a project of the PMLN Govt aims to produce 4500 Megawatts of electricity, it is a very expensive project and can be a victim to shortage of budget in the middle of the project. The government would have to further apply for loans for its completion which means that the poor Pakistani will be pressed under more debt. We can only hope it doesn't meet the same fate as that of Nandipur. While the nation is confused whether the Bhasha Dam or Kalabagh Dam would be the most suitable solution for the nation, it has become more of a tug of war game where Moonis Elahi supporters favor KBD but PMLN supporters vote for Bhasha Dam.

Moonis Elahi, in most of his speeches has always urged his followers and the people of Pakistan to not think narrowly and support a cause because it is launched by their favorite leader. He has always said we must think as a nation and only support the cause for the sake of the nation. Unless we weed out the favoritism mentality Pakistan will still suffer and due to its suffering we as a nation will all suffer. It is time that Pakistani's study the facts and press the government to build dam which will be the dam for all Pakistanis.

Nawaz Sharif Becoming Worse Than a Dictator

Nawaz Sharif Becoming Worse Than a Dictator

During the era of PMLQ government, the leaders Moonis Elahi, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain had ended the draconian law where prime minister vested the power to sack the heads of Public Sector Entities (PSE's) without any warnings. It was a rule widely practiced by the older PMLN and the slain Benazir Bhutto of PPP. The power to sack any head of the public sector was to simply terrorize them to obey any order issued by the government no matter how harmful it may be for the nation at large.

Using the power before, Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto (late) had created unrest in the country and both were on a looting spree unstoppable by any state department. Moonis Elahi, a member of the parliament and son of former CM Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has expressed deep concern over the powers Nawaz Sharif now possesses. The N League government has silently restored the 3 decades old power where the Prime Minister would sack PSE's heads without any reasoning. He said the misuse of this power is the reason why we see the Panama Gate scandal today.

Had there been any head of state powerful enough to question him then, the flight of money which has now become a national issue would not have happened. Now Nawaz Sharif has become powerful once again and it is sign of increased corruption in future. Moonis Elahi shed light on one incident last year when SNGPL Chief Executive Arif Hameed was sent home packing without any previous notice.

He was laid off his duties unceremoniously because he refused to sign agreements related to imports of LNG and its sale as it was not in the interest of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited. Nawaz Sharif has become a dictator and doesn't take no for an answer. He only thinks about personal interests and not for the national cause. Honest government officers are finding it hard to work under his rule and the ones who resist are sacked without any notice.

PMLQ's young political leader Moonis Elahi is deeply concerned about the trends being set by the incumbent government. The negative trends will leave a mark for centuries to remove and the ill practice of using force over government institutions for personal gains will pave path for corrupt people to come in power. Our country will be destabilized very easily once we have corrupt people at the top looting the country without resistance. It will be hard for future politicians to weed out the corrupt practices PMLN is rooting today. We as a nation must stand against these practices today to save our future and the future of Pakistan.

Pakistan's Self Proclaimed Master of Finance Ishaq Dar Set Out to Destroy PSM

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar Destroy PSM

On 1st December Ishaq Dar ordered the Pakistan Steel Mills to settle its debts to the state owned banks as well as foreign creditors. In a drive to privatize National institutions, Pakistan Steel Mills has been finalized to be privatized and investors from China have shown interest to bid when its privatization process starts.

Moonis Elahi pointed out that PSM has been reporting losses since a decade and neither the Zardari nor PMLN government could assign talented people to take its charge and bring it out of the mess it has fallen due to corruption. The workers have been staging protests as their salaries haven't been transferred since months. In a meeting held at Islamabad between the Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, PSM Management and Privatization Committee, the issue of PSM's outstanding debts was discussed.

The minister issued orders for the steel mills to sell its assets and settle the Rs. 51 billion loan it owes. Moonis Elahi has said the nation is in shock over the news and widely questions if the Sharif brothers policies can make their personal steel mills to reap billions of profits a year, why are they hesitant to implement the same policies for a State owned company that could have saved it from destruction? If assets are sold, the company would further decline in value and it would soon be worthless. The country's largest industrial unit had been shut down for over a year and a half after SSGC had cut its gas supply over defaulting its Rs. 18 billion in terms of outstanding gas bills.

Dry Weather likely To continue Till January PMD Report

Dry Weather likely To continue Till January PMD Report

Punjab currently faces the driest winter ever witnessed. The cause ultimately is the climatic changes mainly due to "No Policy" on preserving ecology. The weather has affected most parts of the country with Punjab at the front. A top official at Pakistan Meteorological Department stated the weather would remain unchanged till January next year. He further warned the current weather would aggravate water shortage in the country.
While there still seems no concern by the PMLN government to make a national policy to counter the negative climatic changes faced by the country, no other politician other than Moonis Elahi raises concern over the issue. Vice President Dr. Ghulam Rasool, of World Meteorological Organisation (WMO), while speaking to the Express Tribune, a leading news site within the country, said that since September this year Pakistan has not received a good amount of rainfall. Even the northern areas which are hilly and mostly covered in snow during the winter have not received "Good Showers" and "Snowfall" is less expected to fall until January. While it is expected that some parts of the country will receive light to moderate rainfall, it is not enough to fulfill the need.
Under the current weather condition, days are warm while the nights are cold. For the winter season, this is not a good sign as due to clear skies the sun remains open throughout the day increasing the temperature. Clear skies mean less potential for rain in Punjab and less snowfall in the northern areas. Though PMD has warned of acute water shortage in the coming months, the concerned authorities have widely ignored these warnings, Moonis Elahi has once again raised his concern as we do not see any policy coming to shape regarding the abrupt changes in the climate of Pakistan.
For the first time ever Lahore had witnessed SMOG which was only due to cutting down of trees. To make roads for Lahore Metro Buses and destruction of plants in the city for the Orange Train, CM Lahore Shahbaz Sharif has caused an increase in the destruction of greenery in the city. Moonis Elahi has said time and again that unless the ecology system s kept in balance the country at large will face many climatic and health issues. People are reporting with ailments in hospitals mainly due to the dry weather. Dr Rasool has said the situation is alarming and the government should pay attention to it.

Moonis Elahi Says N League Govt Only Efficient In Announcing Shortfalls

Moonis Elahi Says N League Govt Only Efficient In Announcing Shortfalls

N League government on Monday confirmed the stock of petrol and diesel in the country were sufficient only for 13 - 14 days which is much lower than the average 20 days which is mandatory before announcing an emergency of shortfall. So, it is without a doubt that the country would face another petrol crisis similarly it had faced on 27 January 2015.

Moonis Elahi is of the view that the government should learn its priorities and as a democratic government it should focus on serving the people rather than serving itself. In case the country dries up of fuel the entire nation would be shook and businesses would come to a standstill. According to figures released by the ministry of petroleum in a recent press release, the country wide stock of motor gasoline (petrol) is just at 225,674 metric tonnes (MTs) which is sufficient only for 13 days as per current average demand which is around 17,500MTs per day's requirement.

Moonis Elahi said for a government which boasts of productivity and achievements, it is a true picture of its inefficiency and inability to rule the country. It will be the second fiasco in its tenure and Nawaz Sharif has learnt nothing from the past and still lives in a delusional world. While his Darbaris only live to laud him pointlessly the country seems to be running only by Allah.

Moonis Elahi further pointed out, likewise, the press release stated that the countrywide stock of high speed diesel (HSD) was 466,821MTs. As per the current per day usage of HSD, which is around 27,310MTs it is only sufficient for 17 days. Owing to such incompetent rulers, the nation would have to suffer the crisis while the PM and his aides would still be roaming in their luxury cars and helicopters. The ministry has reported that two vessels carrying 17,000MTs of motor gasoline were waiting for berthing but it is unfortunate they are still on the waiting list.

They should be offloaded on priority basis as delays in its berthing would cause a total disturbance countrywide. The ministry's worksheet revealed that the total countrywide storage capacity was around 301,593 tonnes of consumption coverage which is only sufficient for 14 days. Moonis Elahi said "This is an alarming revelation and the government must take war footing steps to increase the storage capacity. It is the capacity which was built way back in PMLQ's tenure and since then no government has focused to increase the country's fuel storage capacity."

Pakistan NAVY Displays Its Vigil Thwarts Indian Submarine Attempt To Cross Boundary

Pakistan NAVY Displays Its Vigil Thwarts Indian Submarine Attempt To Cross Boundary

Pakistan's army is recognized for its bravery and quick response at the time of distress and presently the Pakistan NAVY also displayed its exceptional skills by thwarting Indian NAVY submarine's attempt to cross the boundary.

Moonis Elahi praised the NAVY for its exceptional display of quick response when the enemy though it was cunning enough to carry out its mission without anyone knowing it. The befitting response has clearly shown what Pakistan's protectors are capable of be it a matter of protecting the country's land, air space or seas. The nation has once again felt proud of its army and we know that whenever the enemy comes marching again it will be sent back in coffins.

It was a moment of joy and seemingly the victories of previous wars had become fresh. The nation rejoiced over the news and the Moonis Elahi official social media accounts were also the center of attention as people expressed their views and solidarity with the Pakistan NAVY. Such incidents prove that the Two Nation Theory was never wrong and people from both sides of the border still want to prove their nation is better than the other's.

While Pakistan has always extended a hand of friendship towards India, but the latter has always come forth with bared teeth. It is evident that the neighbor has been sent a clear message that if it tries to mess with our security it will be pushed and it will be pushed hard.

PMLN Has Taken More Loans In Last 3 Years Than Ever Recorded In History

PMLN Has Taken More Loans In Last 3 Years Than Ever Recorded In History

PMLN has broken all records of the past and it has become the first ever to take $24 Billion in loanMoonis Elahi sarcastically praised the government to set a new record. The infamous "Kashkol" lives on and the incumbent government seems to have made it one of their most prized possessions.

While on one end the PMLN media representatives glorify their supreme leader of being of the most successful PM ever, the facts go against these false claims. We can still hear Nawaz Sharif's pre election speeches ringing in our ears as if it were just yesterday when he bashed Zardari accusing him of taking the Kashkol to beg for loans, now he is doing the same but even more aggressively.

PMLQ's young politician Moonis Elahi is no mathematician or economist but when he says the economy is wrecked due to excessive debt servicing policy of the PMLN, he isn't wrong in pointing out the grave danger that lies ahead. While most seasoned politicians say they do not consider the young politicians worthy to be heard, it is the very attitude which is leading Pakistan towards its economic destruction. It is common sense that when you take loans at a hefty price and instead of repaying it, borrow some more and keep on taking loans the economy will be ruined and it will take many generations to repay the debt and live a harsh life.

Turkish president asked Nawaz Sharif to remove the entire Turkish staff and management from these schools.

Turkish president asked Nawaz Sharif to remove the entire Turkish staff and management from these schools.

Pak Turk schools are one of the finest schools in Punjab and parents of the children studying there have expressed satisfaction over the way they are run. In a recent incident the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan claimed that the NGO under which the schools are being operated have found to be linked with US based cleric Fethullah Gulen the very person who tried to impose a military coup in Turkey

Following the claim the Turkish president asked Nawaz Sharif to remove the entire Turkish staff and management from these schools. Following orders like an obedient servant the premier made haste and cancelled the visas of staff working there. Moonis Elahi expressed his view that in such matters a proper road map must be created before taking any steps that would affect the citizens.

Nawaz Sharif is known to be a personal friend with Erdogan rather than just having political friendship. the abrupt decision has shocked the nation and parents have become concerned about the quality of education in the country. A parent of children studying in a Pak Turk school campus Mr. Akbar said "the children have become mentally stressed at such a tender age following the news.

Children get attached to their teachers and the news of them being kicked out of the country has made them sad. The PM should have handled the matter in a more sophisticated manner". Moonis Elahi has always said that the PMLN government does not care about the citizens but always works for its personal benefits and this is a very clear example. Only 2 days remain for the teachers to leave Pakistan or else they would be arrested.

Moonis Elahi Reacts to Curtailment of Punjab Gas Supply

Curtailment of Punjab Gas Supply-Moonis Elahi

Punjab houses the largest textile industry in Pakistan whose core necessity is Gas. Without it, the industry would not function properly and profits can be turned to losses. Punjab's government should ensure proper gas supply to factories even in the winter season because without the industries functioning properly many people would be unemployed.

Moonis Elahi wonders why does CM Shahbaz Sharif fail in every winter to provide the industries with the required amount of gas to run without hindrance. Moonis Elahi Said It is the third term of Mr. Shahbaz Sharif as the CM of Punjab and he has yet again failed to address the issue with a concrete plan.

Moonis Elahi Expresses Grief Over Jehangir Badar's Death

Moonis Elahi Expresses Grief Over Jehangir Badar's Death

PPP's senior leader Jehangir Badar's death occurred on Sunday 13 November 2016 due to cardiac arrest. The senior leader was a close aide of Benazir Bhutto and was always in the center light whenever he stepped on the stage. Moonis Elahi expressed grief and sorrow over his death and said "despite our political differences, he was a good person and I pray may his soul rest in peace".

Lately Jehangir Badar had reduced his political activities due to his ailment but he was still not forgotten in the political world of Pakistan. He was an avid supporter of democracy and had even been imprisoned during Gen Zia ul Haq's martial law. It is a day PPP has lost a loyal leader who never backed out even in tough times.

Moonis Elahi Says CPEC Completed Due to Gen Raheel Sharif's Efforts

Moonis Elahi Says CPEC Completed Due to Gen Raheel Sharif's Efforts

Gawadar received its first Chinese convoy on 12 Nov 2016. Moonis Elahi congratulated the people of Balochistan as the army led CPEC will surely bring prosperity in the province that has long suffered ignorance. Opening an international trade route always benefits the people of the region economically and socially.

India tried to sabotage the project through various antics but has failed in its evil plans.
Pakistan on the whole will reap its rewards and Gen Raheel Shareef will be remembered as the cwho has helped Pakistan establish an international trade route with its closest ally China. Moonis Elahi says even the incumbent government acknowledges it was not capable to have completed the project had the army not helped.

PMLN Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Misusing Powers to Grab Land

PMLN Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Misusing Powers to Grab Land

Punjab Law Minister hailing from Faisalabad Rana Sanaullah and his relatives are identified to be involved in land grabbing activities. Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid) PMLQ Punjab Information Secretary Akram Chaudhry said the law minister must look at the mess in his own district before pointing fingers towards others.

PMLQ's young leader Moonis Elahi also expressed concerns that if a minister gets involved in breaking the law, how do we expect him to uphold the law. The people look for justice towards the law minister and if his family is given a free hand to commit crimes then how can a common man expect anything from the law.

Pakistan is already a victim of lawlessness thanks to the corrupt policies of N League which is in Govt now. While the PM Nawaz Sharif's case is being heard in the Apex court of Pakistan against his undeclared wealth and investments in off shore companies, the country on the whole seems to have no rule of law.

Street crimes have increased in Punjab and Moonis Elahi had said Former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi had formed an exceptional police force to combat such crimes. There is evident proof that the traffic wardens had issued challans to parliament members who violated traffic laws but today no police officer has the power to stop an MPA or MNA while ministers are completely out of their reach.
