Research document published in Dawn is no less than a slap on the tall claims of the present government. PMLN's political myopia has caused the residents of Wazirabad a huge loss which can never be replaced. Wazirabad Institute of Cardiology was a project initiated when Moonis Elahi's father Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi was the chief Minister of Punjab.
The project was to provide state of the art medical treatment to heart patients in the district. Since Shahbaz Sharif became Chief Minister of Punjab, the institute has been cut off the budget it was promised and is now in a deteriorating state. PMLN's vendetta against PMLQ should not be played over the lives of innocents civilians.
